Project Server Workflow Error: GeneralSecurityAccessDenied

Error: Error occurs while creating project through workflow when ept has project plan template attached.

Though it’s a generic error related to security, but in my case, while creating project from a workflow designed in SharePoint designer and using enterprise project type EPT which was bind with project plan template, the above error occurs. Please note, I had same error while creating project using PSI and the EPT have been bind to a project plan template, at that time I read somewhere that it’s a limitation of PSI.

Solution: sorry i didn’t find any solution 😦 I remember this was mentioned somewhere that creating a project through PSI using EPT which is bind with plan template will end up with this error, but here I’m getting same error when using SPD.
